MTN responds to cancellation of the Cape Summer Show

MTN South Africa regrets the early closure of the Cape Summer show which was scheduled to run till 23 December 2006.

MTN South Africa was initially only participating as an exhibitor at The Cape Summer Show. Subsequently, a representative from the Cape Summer Show, Mr. Danie Roos, offered MTN the opportunity to also be the title sponsor.

At no point was MTN involved in the organising, management or administration of the Cape Summer show. The frustrations and unhappiness expressed by exhibitor’s participating in the event also extends to MTN, as it is also an exhibitor at the show.

MTN is a proudly South African brand and company that is committed to uplifting entrepreneurs in South Africa, and we are disappointed that the show did not meet its performance expectation.
