MTN announces new media agency

MTN SA is pleased to announce that MediaCompete has been awarded the MTN SA media strategy, implementation and buying contract, following a competitive pitch process.

Says Bernice Samuels, MTN SA’s Head of Marketing: “We are very excited about having the team from MediaCompete on board. MediaCompete was appointed following a very competitive process in which we received strong proposals. I am confident that MediaCompete is best suited to our particular needs and that they will be able to support the MTN SA marketing team in its efforts to strategically differentiate the MTN brand within the competitive South African telecommunications market.

The 3-year contract for MediaCompete commences on 01 June 2007.
