MTN sends condolences to Zambia for the loss of president Levy Mwanawasa
The MTN Group wishes to express its sincere condolences on the passing of the president of the Republic of Zambia, Levy Patrick Mwanamwasa.

In the process of acquiring 100% shareholding in Telecel Zambia in 2005 and rebranded to MTN Zambia, MTN has formed good relations with the Zambian Government. MTN will continue to invest in the telecommunications industry in Zambia.
